Hi, I'm new to storyline. This weekend i created an elearning module. I "published" using the Web option and also sent my email so I have the zip file. I now want to open and revise the module, but I can't seem to figure out how to open it in articulate? I've tried to import it but I'm not having any successl
If you are trying to open your published output with Storyline, that won't work. It's a one-way thing.
You need to find your .story file (the default file for a Storyline project and open that). When you start Storyline, you should see a list of your most recent projects. Is it listed there?
Thank you for responding. I'm not seeing the file when I start storyline. I am able to "play" the file/module from the saved file on my desktop, but I'm not sure what I did wrong and/or how up can open and modify the module. Any help you can provide is truly appreciated. Here's a screen shot of the file from my desktop
Storyline doesn't automatically save or back up your .story file, which is the file in which you can modify or edit the Storyline course. Had you saved it at all before publishing your course? If so, you may want to do a search on your computer to look for the .story file - and we do recommend saving to a local drive so that should help narrow down the places to look.

Hi Amy and welcome to Heroes!

Yes, Amy, that is your published output from Storyline. You won't be able to make changes to that with Storyline itself.
When you start Storyline, do you see something like this?
Or click the big Articulate button in the top left when you open storyline. You should also see the most recent .story files that you worked on.
