Click to select the video on a slide and then click the tab named "Movie Tools Options" in the toolbar. Make sure you mark the box, "Show Video Controls" next to the Edit Video icon to enable video player controls. Hope this helps - good luck!

Have you marked the "Show Video Controls" box?
Click to select the video on a slide and then click the tab named "Movie Tools Options" in the toolbar. Make sure you mark the box, "Show Video Controls" next to the Edit Video icon to enable video player controls.
