Player Customization

Hey Matt, welcome!

There's not currently an option to customize the player, outside of coloring, but I believe that will be possible when the development team releases the Storyline SDK (no release date announced as of yet). Would make a nice feature request

Any update on the Storyline SDK ? Features missing/requested are:

1) Being able to upload background image to build better visual apperance and to support customer graphical profile

2) Being able to remove rounded corners in player (more modern)

3) Being able to have trancaprency in player frame, against background.

4) Add shadows for player frame against background, to add som nice contrast effects

5) More modern flat graphics for buttons, without gradients / customize buttons

We still haven't shared any updates on when a Storyline SDK might be released, so Monday might be a little ambitious

I havent looked into the code, but is the player graphical framwork based on CSS/HTML? Bitmaps?

My question is really if we are able to modify the Player without the SDK

Hi Thomas, 

We currently only support customizing the player via the Home tab. I'm afraid I can't provide any insight into the graphical framework. 

I think the changes you'd like to make are cool, and I'd encourage you to submit a feature request directly to our dev team.
