I have built in my own navigation buttons for my Test mode simulations. On the last step of the simulation I have a "reset" image that appears. When the user clicks on this image, the user is taken back to the slide with the first step. This is working as programmed, although I noticed that the Player's Next and Previous buttons appear in the player, even though I have them turned off. How do I stop this from happening? I don't want the player navigations button to appear, that's why I have them turned off.
Is it possible you have them turned off in the overall player, but this one slide has a custom player set up on the individual slide properties like the image below where the Prev and Next buttons are checked on? You can check the individual slide properties by going to the wheel icon in the bottom right corner of the slide within the Slide Layers box.
No, I had them all turned off. I think it had something to do with the hotspot being a question and the review was making the navigation buttons appear. Once I removed the question feature, it is working properly. Now I just need to figure out how to get feedback to show when the wrong place is clicked.
I wanted to point you to this tutorial on setting up hotspot questions - but if you're still having a hard time figuring it out, feel free to share your .story file with me and I'll be happy to take a look.
