There isn't a way to swirl or light it up - but you could change it's state from disabled or hidden to normal so that the user could see a change in it. You can read about that here.
You can activate layers that appear towards the end of your slide timeline letting someone know they can click. You can also trigger these same layers on hover states, so if someone hovers over your next button before it's time you show a layer telling them to wait for the slide to finish, and show a different layer when your slide content has finished.
