Hi, we are working on a project the needs a large menu but we just can't figure out how to make if larger, already went into player's menu options, but just can't find a way, already shrink the slide width as well, please help, appriciate if answered quickly
It looks like you're working with a large slide size, so the menu has to shrink to fit inside the player. Try one of these options to make the menu appear larger:
Under Player Properties >> Other, set the player size to Lock Player at Optimal Size.
Instead of placing the menu in the player sidebar, move it to a topbar tab.
Hi Alyssa, thanks for answering. We can't set the menu at the topbar because it conflicts with ours project specifications, and both other options are equally useless in our case, already tryed both and it doesn't work at all, really don't know what to do anymore. :/
Sorry that wasn't helpful, Daniel! Let me play around with it a bit more. What Slide Size are you using? Also, what version of Storyline are you using?
Here's a sample Storyline 360 project using slide size 1024x578. The menu looks very readable there. Is that not what you're seeing when you use that slide size?
We could test on modern's player, but it conflicts with project's specification Ashley, Alyssa if you look at the attachment our menu is readble, but the project's specification demand a larger sidebar menu
The size of the sidebar menu in the link I shared above is the largest it can be (240 pixels wide). If you'd like to see the ability to customize the menu size in a future update of Storyline, let us know in a Feature Request here!
You can create a custom side bar menu for your course as an alternative, and make it any size you like. This can create a little extra work depending on which menu features you are using. Let me know if you would like any help with that.

I'm using the lastest version of storyline 360 and already tried using both 1920x1080 and 1024x578 as slide's size
