Prevent a learner from revisiting once module completed

Aug 01, 2017

Hello,

Our LMS is unable to accommodate our requirement so wondering if Articulate has a trigger we could use.

The question...

If a learner fails a quiz we'd like to prevent them re-entering the scorm at a later date to retry the quiz.  Can Articulate storyline achieve this via a trigger or other?

Many thanks

Hi there Nic!

What setting have you selected for resume behavior? I would use "Always Resume". This option forces your course to open where learners previously left off, which would be the results slide if they finished the quiz. And if you have disabled the menu in the player, there will be no way for the learner to go back and retry the quiz.

Now, what about learners who pass the quiz? Do you want to give them the option to go back and review the course? If so, include a button on the results slide "Success Layer" to jump back to slide 1.1 when the button is clicked. Only learners who have passed the quiz will see that button.

I hope that's helpful!
