I'm on the trial version of the software and I hit the wall right after downloading Storyline360. I manage to download the .exe file, but trying to extract it, I get the message "The contents of the file articulate-360.exe can not be extracted with this program". I'm working in a Mac environment and I use the Unarchiver.
Hi There, I have the exact same issue but it's been about 3 years since this post and I wondered if there have been any changes/updates? The download says it runs on both but I have same issue this customer had. THank you!
While there's no native Mac version of the Articulate 360 desktop app, you can run it using a virtual environment, such as Parallels or VMWare Fusion, or through Apple Boot Camp if your Mac is Intel-based.
The Articulate 360 .exe installer will only work when opened in a Windows machine. If you'd like to run Articulate 360 on your Mac, I'd recommend checking out Maria's suggestions!

Hi there, Melinda. Thanks for those helpful details. The Articulate 360 desktop app needs to be installed in a Windows operating system. Here's some more information on using Articulate desktop tools with a Mac.
Good news: Rise, Articulate Review and Peek can all be run natively on a Mac operating system, so feel free to try them out in the meantime.

Any Mac updates since this reply a year ago? I just signed on to Articulate 360 and that was my first encounter.
