Problem publishing Romanian projects
Jul 24, 2015
We have a client who has translated several English educational presentations into Romanian for us. They created the translations in PowerPoint, which I imported into Storyline and added in the audio for each slide in each presentation. I became aware that Autocorrect was changing the Romanian word "fi" to "if" so I turned it off and did a Find/Replace to correct that, and I thought all would be well. Unfortunately, when I published the projects (for the web, with HTML5 output but without Articulate Mobile Player option), a LOT of the notes decided to drop letters off of the ends of words, remove accents, etc. What is in the notes in the Storyline files is all correct, so it was not an import problem from PowerPoint. It just doesn't publish correctly.
All of the files I'm working in are stored on the desktop of the machine I'm using to do the work, and I'm publishing right back to the desktop as well, so it's not a weird across-servers issue. I did try changing the default dictionary to Italian (the closest language to Romanian of the standard languages in Storyline), and that didn't help.
Anyone had this experience and/or know how to fix it?

Hi Jennifer! I think we would need to take a look at this file and you can share it privately here.
There are actually 5 files, but I zipped them to share them all on your site. If you need more information, obviously just let me know! You can view the published versions from this webpage, also: http://ipos-society.org/multilingual-core-curriculum-in-psycho-oncology/multilingual-core-curriculum-roman-ro/
Thanks for the update Jennifer! I can see where you submitted your case (00614302) and are working with Ryan.
