Problem sending zipped file by email

Hi, I have created a Storyline 2 chapter. I published by saving it to CD and zipping it. When I emailed to a client, they never received it.
I then tested the same procedure by emailing the same file to myself and my brother. It went through to me but I received a message from the postmaster that my brother's email server, gmail, refused it because it was a security risk. Following a link in the rejection email, it says gmail does not accept .zip files.
Does anyone know a workaround?
Thanks, Tom

You might consider one of the many popular web file sharing services. Dropbox appears quite frequently in these forums for example
I usually use www.wetransfer.com
You can transfer up to 2GB for free.
Google Docs is pretty close for someone using gmail
Hi Tom, if you just trying to get your published course to your client to review (?), I find an easy option is to upload your zip file to the scorm cloud. You can enrol your client to your course on the scorm cloud LMS (free up to 10 clients and file size limit) and email them a link to access.
Hi Tom,
You may also want to look at the options here for publishing and sharing your content.
Thanks, Brian. I'll check the size limit on drop box.
Thanks Russell, I used a solution given to me by a staff member: Tempshare.articulate.com. It allows easy posting of a course for 10 days. I may look at Dropbox or wetransfer if the client needs it for longer.
Thanks also to Walt, Christie, and Ashley. I learned valuable information from each of you and have recorded useful information in my notes. You may have all guessed this is my first time posting in E-learning heroes. I think I need to change my picture for the future.

You're welcome Tom. Just so you know I understand with Dropbox you need to have a paid account to be able to share links to story files. This was something I stumbled with when first started. I upgrade to paid Dropbox and have never looked back. Cheers Christine
Glad we could help Tom- and Tempshare is a really easy way to share the web published output for review! Also, welcome to the E-Learning Heroes community! Happy to have you here.
