Storyline is not like other authoring tools. You cannot open 2 projects in the same instance of Storyline.
A trick around this is to open the storyline programme 2 or 3 times. And open a project in each instance. You can copy/paste between these different instances.
Hi Mathilde! Looks like Christophe has popped in to assist you here. As he mentioned, be sure to open the program vs a file directly and you should be able to get around the files replacing each other when opening.
