Problem with inserted buttons

Hi,

I inserted buttons in my articulate project :

- the first allows me to go to the beginning of the slide I can see on the screen (i;e; to see it again),

- the second allows me to go to the previous slide.

I inserted characters, shapes, ...., and audio files, and used the trigger "play media ... when the timeline starts" for each slide.

But I have a problem when I preview my project: when I click on these two buttons, I can only hear the audio files from the beginning, i.e. the shapes appear at the same time at the beginning, and not one after another, although I used the timeline in order them to appear when the timeline reaches a specific time).

Any idea or solution?

I would verify that "reset to Inital state" is selected in Slide Properties. (see pic)

May I also ask if you are seeing the same behavior and issues when you test your published output in the intended environment (or where it will ultimately be accessed by learners)?

As the article states, "If you view an Articulate Storyline course on your local hard drive (or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive), you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features of your content to fail."
