Problems with publishing/storyline
Jul 20, 2012
Everybody hi!
Maybe my problem has easy solution but i don`t know how to find it
I`ve made project in Storyline and published it but the files don`t work
I have some printscreens of that process
1) i saved the project for web delivery
2) waited
3) and finally published it
4) send it by email
BUT
neither iPad nor computers open this project
for example iPad writes an error when you press launch (articulate fron appstore is installed)
P.S.; I`m a beginner at using your programm and it`s my first time to publish projects

Hi Marina, and welcome to Heroes.
Have you downloaded the (free) iPad mobile player from the iStore and installed?
This link may help with publishing.
Good luck, and once again - welcome.
Bruce
I'd also review this KB article and the table there ( http://www.articulate.com/support/kb_article.php?product=st1&id=1568gg1ayot2 ) to make sure that you are not doing something in your course that is not supported on the IPad (iOS).
Bruce, thank you for advice!
Yes, I have downloaded the (free) iPad mobile player and read the link you send before writing here but unfortunatelly i didn`t find the answer :(
that`s why I wrote here
Gerry, thank you
I looked through the table you gave and the features that i have in my project are supported in the Flash Player, HTML5, and the Articulate Mobile Player app for iPad
so why computers don`t want to show it?
I despaired of success...
Sorry for the trouble, Marina. We'd be happy to take a look at your .story file and try to determine why you're receiving the error message. Can you please submit a case, and be sure to include the .story file and the URL to this thread. Thanks!
Hi, I have just completed my first Storyline and want to publish it to a website but failed after 4 times. I am not sure where I've gone wrong. Appreciate if you could help me.
Hi Suzi - and welcome to Heroes!
Have you had a look at this article?
Let us know if you are still having issues.
