I am working on a course for CA Sexual Harassment requirements. It needs to be 2 hours in length. Is there somewhere I can view audio length properties in Storyline? Or do I have to publish?
As a follow-up, I jsut publihsed the course and noticed that Storyline does not have a course timer/clock on the player like Presenter does. I have looked through the player settings and I do not see a way to add. Am I missing something or is there no way to view total course run time?
Thanks for the clarification, Derek. There's no built-in course timer in Storyline like there was in Presenter, due mostly to Storyline's non-linear roots, but it has become a popular feature request.
One thing you may want to look into, is the course duration option in the Publish dialog. The Duration lets learners taking the course in the Mobile Player know approximately how long the course will take. In the Articulate Mobile Player, this value appears below the course thumbnail. You can have Storyline Calculate Automatically, or you can choose Custom and enter the duration you want learners to see.

Where is this specifically found? I can not find it on the Publish dialouge in my Storyline.
I did the calculation using the way you have showed above in the screenshot, but that doesnt include the audio in the layers. Is there any other way to calculate the length of my recorded narration. Or do I have to go to each and every slide and calculate it manually?
This can be very annoying - as I need all my courses to be one hour and since there is lot of audio in the layers and interactivity, I cant currently calcuate.
Yeah, it looks like the audio from layers might not feed into the overall calculation. Looks like you may have to do some manual calculations if you'd like that be considered for a more precise time.
Improved course timing tools are popular feature requests, and we'd love to hear your ideas if you'd like to share.

Hey Derek,
Not quite sure I'm clear on what you're looking for...
Are you concerned about possible complications with the length of your course? Having trouble with the audio? Something else?
Sorry Peter,
I am trying to find somewhere in Storyline that will show course properties, for instance how long the recorded audio is.

Hey Anthony, welcome to Heroes!
Sorry for not including a bigger screenshot
You'll need to click the elipsis to the right of your course title:
Peter thank you so much!
