Publishing to web
Oct 06, 2020
Hi
I've just published a Storyline file to the web and have a received a page not found.
I use Filezilla to upload the Storyline output and everything looks fine.
The surrounding html is identical to other cases where there is no problem; the SL output in all cases (successful and unsuccessful) is in the same relative position in the directory hierarchy.
I've shortened the directory name to 2 characters to ensure there are no spelling errors; I guess I could try 1 character.
I wondered if anyone might have an idea as to what could be happening.
One other that puzzles me is the although for the web I ensure that there are no spaces in the file names, Storyline appends ' - storyline output' to the file name. I always remove the spaces or rename the directory.
Regards
Steve

Are you publishing in HTML only, or both HTML and Flash? Which file are you pointing to for your launch URL?
