I would like to create a role play (of sorts) where a learner has to answer specific questions with a yes or no. If they answer no, they must respond with a specific question, and the conversation continues with other yes or no questions (conversation style) where they ask additional questions for each no response they give.
You can definitely create branching that would allow you to accomplish this. I'm a little confused by what you mean when you say "If they answer no, they must respond with a specific question." Do you mean you will provide a list of questions, and they will select one of them?
I suggest drawing out some sort of a flowchart for how you see things branching.
No, I won't provide a list of questions. The learner would be required to type a question, and receive a correct or incorrect response for their question.
