question about copying buttons with edited states

I created customized states for two separate buttons, and I have additional buttons that need to have the exact same states. Is there a way to duplicate my customized buttons and states without having to painstakingly copy each state and paste it into another button? Hope this question makes sense. I am new to Articulate (having used Flash primarily in the past.) Appreciate any help I can get!
