Question about some Storyline features and how to utilize it in doing overall edits?

Feb 07, 2023

Hi All,

I have some questions that I hope you help me figure out.

I never worked with templates before in Storyline, but I would like to check if Storyline manage template elements that can be updated and will automatically be reflected on each slide without going into each individual slide? Is templates the right choice to this approach of work? and What is good resource to get stated with it?

Also I have the following wonders:

  • Can I manage general styles to applied to objects or text in several/all slides?
  • When I create a new project, what is the best ways to avoid slide by slide changes?
  • Can I make changes to the size and/or font for buttons, icons, the body text in the project in a global manner?

Thank you

Hi Ahmed,

Thanks so much for reaching out! Happy to help!

If I understand correctly, it sounds like you'd like to utilize Slide Templates into your course. Did I understand this correctly from your original post?

If that is correct, I'd like to send along some resources to assist you better:

( In this webinar we will show you how to begin working with custom templates. You’ll learn how to create layouts, fonts, and colors that you can save and share. )

( This article will help you use themes to give your courses a consistent visual design.)

For your question on Objects, I'd like to share this article with you.

(You can utilize the tools in the Format tab to achieve the desired result.)

Please let me know if you have any other questions! I hope this helps!
