Quick way of adding the same layer to multiple slides?

Sep 08, 2021

Hi community,

I have a course of roughly 50 slides that is close to being signed off. I have a bit of a last minute request from the client to add a layer to every slide with 'course info' (an additional menu option essentially).

Just wondering if there is a quick way to do this rather than to copy and paste it into each slide one by one?

To repeat the layer, you need to copy the info and paste it into a new layer on each slide. And you need to add the trigger to each slide to show it.

But why a layer? it'd be soooo much easier to put the info on its own slide, and then lightbox it with a Player tab. You can find out how to do that here:

Even if you put the button to lightbox it on every slide, this option would still be easier. Because if (when) the info needs to be edited, you only have to do it once.
