Quiz Feedback Try Again Default - Is it None?
Nov 28, 2017
Hi there,
I have quiz slides with 2 attempts allowed. According to a Storyline help article on feedback "By default, all slides branch to the next slide in the course": https://community.articulate.com/series/4/articles/choosing-feedback-and-branching-options-in-articulate-storyline-2
However the default branching for "Try Again" feedback seems to be "None". I presume this needs to be set to next slide or a selected scene otherwise the "Try Again" option in the quiz will just keep looping if the learner keeps getting the question wrong? Also by default does the learner get an "Incorrect" layer shown after their last attempt with a "Continue" option?
Many thanks for any clarification as I can't seem to find any guidance on this topic!
Thanks,
David

Hi David
the branch for Try Again should be 'hide the layer' which takes them back to the question - depending on how many tries this should appear and once they have exhausted the tries, the incorrect or correct layer will display and move to Next slide. This may need changing if you are branching to another scene.

Hi Wendy, thanks so much for your reply & example, really appreciate you taking the time to respond, all clear now!
