Hello Everyone!
I wanted to share some great news! We are no longer seeing this bug that caused answer choices to move when hovered while using certain fonts and screen resolutions.
Please make sure that you are using the current version of Storyline 360 (3.72.29699.0). This guide walks you through installing, updating, and opening Articulate 360 apps.
Please let us know if you're still encountering the issue and we'd be happy to continue troubleshooting with you in a support case.

The height of your hover state is different from the height of your other states on the answers buttons.
Thanks Solange. That makes sense, although it didn't even occur to me that the quiz items have the same states functionality. It's a shame that the program doesn't automatically keep it consistent across all the states.
Glad to know the answer finally.
Thanks.
Hi Karen,
I saw the behavior in your question slide - but when I added in another new question, the hover state of those behaved normally (not causing the jump as you saw). Did you edit or modify any of the states after creating the questions?
Hi Ashley
Solange was able to shed light on the issue. Yes, I must have vertically resized the items, not knowing that would affect their state's height. (I didn't realize quiz answers had states. Now I know.)
Thanks!
No problem Karen, just wanted to check in case it was a broader issue! Glad you're back up and running. 😀
Hi, I'm hoping that someone can help on this issue as well. When the user hovers over the options, they jump a little bit and there's no consistency to this. I've double checked that the hover state is the same size and location as the main item. Can someone suggest a fix for this?
Hi Riona,
Since this discussion is 4 years old, let's start fresh! Can you share a bit more about the interaction that you're working on? Is it multiple choice, pick many, or another question type?
Does the issue still occur if you recreate the slide?
If you can share a video or .story file here or with our support team, we can take a closer look and provide some guidance!
Hi Ren, sorry about the delay, I can't share the actual course but I've tried to export just one slide here.
The interaction is a multiple choice question. When the user hovers over the choices, the text jumps or stretches a bit. The issue I was having was that not all the options would move every time, so there was no consistency as to whether the text would move or not. I had this issue even after recreating the slide.
I checked the size and location of the hover states and nothing seems to be amiss.
Thanks for your help.
Hi Riona!
Thank you for sharing your project with us! I see the same behavior with the answer choices. They're shifting when hovered over. We do have this logged as a possible software bug, so I've linked this discussion to the report. From here, we'll continue looking at this bug to determine the impact it has in Storyline 360. You can see our process here on how we tackle bugs.
I'll keep you updated in this discussion! I appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
Keep me in the loop
I'm currently having this issue using SL360 and have seen this issue reported 8 years ago! I don't suppose there has been a fix found for this bug?
Hello Brian!
I'm sorry you're running into this bug; answer choices move slightly when hovering depending on the font size used and screen resolution.
This is still an open issue as we've prioritized other bug fixes for our upcoming releases. When this makes it on our list, I'll be sure to update you in this discussion.
