I have a multiple choice quiz in Storyline. When I complete the quiz in my LMS, and then view the transcript to see the details of what questions I missed, some questions don't show the entire choice (only the first letter of the choice is visible). Is this something I'm missing in articulate?
It's hard to tell from that image alone, but some of my first thoughts would be if you're able to test this within SCORM Cloud, and look at your results there do you experience the same thing? If not, please share those results with your LMS team so that they can troubleshoot on their end. If you do see the missing text in the SCORM Cloud version, are you able to share your .story file here for us to test? If you'd prefer to share it privately you can share it here.
Thank you for the response. I tested the course in the Cloud, and had even worse results (for the reporting):
I'm reading the response ("Sorry, but there isn't much we can do about bad data.") as indication that my problem is on the Articulate side, not the LMS side. Is it still something I should share with you to test, or am I just out of luck?
I see Regil sent you some additional information on Monday. If you still need assistance, please feel free to reply to him by replying to the email Support@articulate.com
It looks like it was specific to Heather's LMS set up, so Regil suggested the following:
If you're experiencing issues with LMS content, please refer to the following article, which outlines common issues pertaining to viewing and tracking content in an LMS. Also, be sure to package your published content properly for your LMS. If the issue persists, open a support case with your LMS provider, since they're your primary source of support for LMS tracking and reporting issues.
You may also want to test it out at SCORM Cloud as I had previously suggested in this thread, as it's an industry standard for testing SCORM Content. If the course behaves as expected there you'll want to share those results with your LMS team.
Thank you for the links Ashley, I'll be reading through those.
Funny enough, we use SCORM Cloud on a daily basis for course testing, and this is where we're having this issue.
EDIT:: Just now uploaded a blank course with 2 survey questions onto SCORM Cloud and it's still only displaying the first letter of the learner response. Not sure if i'm missing something :\
UPDATE:: Found out what the issue was. Apparently SCORM Cloud doesnt like courses published to SCORM 1.2. After setting the publishing options to SCORM 2004 v4, everything displayed properly in my interaction reports!
That still sounds unusual, as I'm certain I've loaded Scorm 1.2 courses into SCORM Cloud. Granted, Scorm 2004 included some updates, but the Scorm 1.2 version should still function properly. If you'd like to share that first version with us, we'd be happy to take a look.

Hi Heather,
Definitely share the .story file with us so that we can look a bit further at the quiz set up and reporting.
I just sent it over! Thanks for your help.
Thanks Heather and I see your case (#00362855 for my reference) and I'll follow along as well.

Hate to revive an old thread, but we are having the exact same issue in one of our courses.
Were you able to get the issues fixed, and if so what was causing it?
Thanks!

Hi Alex,
Any chance you could share the .story file here with us? I'd like to take a look at what you've set up and how it'll appear in SCORM Cloud.
