Randomizing answers...

Jan 20, 2017

I have my multiple choice answers indicated by a A., B., C., etc. When I select to randomize the answers, the position lettering also randomizes. Is there a way to place position lettering in A,B,C,D, etc  and not have it randomize with the answers but stay static.

I'm not positive if there's a setting to do this but I actually don't include letters with my answers. Just the radio button and next to it is an answer.

If you felt strongly about having letters you could have fixed text on the slide itself with the A, B, C, D letters and just bump the answer boxes to the right a bit. That way the A, B, C etc letters appear to be with the actual answers but, instead, they're fixed on the slide itself and not attached to an answer necessarily.

yes, that’s what I intend to do, they have answers that are A. and B. combined. SO the position lettering is relevant for some, therefore all.

I usually don't randomize the question's answers if it's something like A and C for that very reason.

Also, just a heads up.. when you reply to the email you receive about somebody commenting on your thread, it includes your whole signature / company confidentiality notice/etc. You may not want all that info out in the webs ;)
