Record Mic - suddenly recording at double speed?!

Hi,

 

I have been recording some audio for projects this morning - the first went fine and the second started well but without me knowingly changing settings the audio is now recording in double speed and I can't find a way to stop this.  I will try and upload a clip of what it is doing...

 

You'll see in the clip that the 'Recording' box with the timer count goes grey - I've not noticed this in previous audio records, it has always stayed white.

 

It has picked up a lot of background rustle so you may wish to play without sound!

 

How can I stop this?

Hi Nikki! I apologize for the issues you are experiencing with recording audio in Storyline. 

I have a few questions to narrow down the issue:

  • Is this happening in a specific file or do you experience the same issue when creating a new project?
  • Are you working from a local hard drive? We don’t recommend working with files on a network drive.
  • Have you attempted to repair Storyline 360? Here are the instructions.

If a repair doesn’t solve the issue, I'd encourage you to upload your file so we can do additional troubleshooting.
