removing a hotspot after clicking
Mar 06, 2014
This is the situation:
My slide has a picture in which my student need to identify 5 different objects. I want them to click on those objects. Clicking them reveals the answer (1 per object). Clicking the object also gives me a +1 on my variable showing the student 1 found, 2 found 3 found, 4 found and "you have found them all".
Main reason for this setup is that I don't want to reveal the fact that they need to find 5 objects.
My problem:
When clicking an object, a +1 signal goes to my variable. However I want to disable the hotspot after that action. If they click the object again, that same +1 signal goes to my variable. I dont want that to happen but I can't seem to find a way to remove or disable the hotspot after completing that action.
Who can help me?

Instead of using a hotspot, try using a shape set to be completely transparent. Add a trigger to the shape to make the object state hidden. Now it won't be clickable again The downside of this method is you won't be able to see your shapes. The upside is you can add hover states for some nice outlined feedback.
Awesome, thanks!
