Reporting score, and progress by the number of slides viewed

Jan 15, 2016

Dear community, I hope someone can help me.
A customer ordered an e-learning from me (4 quiz slides and 7 information slides), the requirements they have are:
- Progress is to be tracked by the number of slides viewed (Done)

- Passed/incomplete is set to passed when all the slides have been viewed (Done)

- Navigation is totally free. (I made a navigation menu without any restrictions (Done))

- All questions must have an unlimited amount of tries (Done)

- The scores from the questions must be reported to the LMS (Problem)

I tried making a seperate review slide, reduce the amount of slides that need to be viewed by 1 (they never need to see the review slide) and then submitting the results of the review slide on the last slide of the course.
The problems this solution gave me were:
- Navigation is free, so they can go to the last slide of the course and it would submit incomplete results.

- When the results are submitted, the questions can't be answered again.

They insist I find a solution where the answers from the questions are submitted, have no influence on the "passed/incomplete" status, and can be tried as many times as the user wants.

I searched online but couldn't find a solution, so you are my last hope. Is this at all possible? And if so, how?

Or, is it possible for a quiz slide to submit its result after the userd answered it for the first time, even though the user can answer the quiz as many times as he/she wants?

Sincerely yours:

Hi, Steffan -- Thanks so much for reaching out with your question! Would it be possible for you to share your file that members here in the community might be able to achieve a better understanding of what you are hoping to accomplish? Please use the ADD ATTACHMENT button in the bottom left of the reply box and you are able to browse/upload from there. :)

Hi Steffan,

To be able to pass a score, you'll need to have a results slide that tracks the questions and the user does need to visit that slide to have the score submitted. The results slide should not appear in the menu though, so that the user isn't able to navigate to it without going through the course as you have set up (although they may get to it before answering all the questions). So that should be submitting the results, and if you enable the "retry" button from the results slide they can retake from there - but it'll be up to the LMS if that modifies how they are seeing the results or passing/incomplete score.

Hi Christie and Ashely,
Unfortunately, I can't just share the file.
I can however, simplify my problem:
-I want track progress and completion by the number of slides viewed.
-I want the score to be sent to the LMS

I tried uploading my file to SCORM cloud. And although it shows passed/incomplete as I want (based on number of slides viewed), it doesn't show a score (Score: unknown). This also happens when I add a result slide.
