To use a screen reader with Storyline-produced content, do you need to be using Internet Explorer? Do you need to use Jaws? Or could someone use other browsers/screen readers as well?
Jaws is the one most commonly referred to in the forums and that we hear about in Support. Articulate Storyline conform to the standards of 508 compliance as described here. You'll see there "Storyline supports assistive technology, such as the JAWS screen reader." I don't know enough about other types of screen readers to suggest a different alternative.

Hi Justin,
As you'll see here within our section 508 guidelines, Storyline supports the Jaws Screen Reader.
Thanks Ashley. Does that mean it only supports Jaws, or does it use standards that are recognized by other screen readers as well?
As far as the browser question, I think Jaws only works with Internet Explorer. Can anyone confirm that?
