We're noticing that the Trigger options for a Link within a course has the option to specify where you want the URL to open, and the size of the window etc.
Would be nice if the Resources links had the same options.
We're having the same issue as the original discussion, where users are using a link in resources that diverts them from the original course, and they have difficulty locating the course again.
If there is some way around this by HTML or JavaScript programming would appreciate it.
The Resources (by default) launch in a separate (new) window. This behavior is true for both URLs (new browser pages) and PDFs or Word docs (they download and launch in whatever default setting the learner system has).
The learner window with the active training does not close, but it does stop playing. No additional programming needed for that, I believe.
