It really depends on how you have your quiz set up. One of the quickest and easiest ways to do this, would be to simply remove the "Previous" button from your question slides. This way, your learner can move forward in the quiz, but can't go back to view the course content by clicking on the "Previous" button. Now.. how functional this method is depends on whether or not your course allows menu navigation. Obviously, if your menu allows for free navigation, removing the button won't make a difference if the learner tries to move throughout the course through the menu.
Can you share a little more information about your course and how you'd like to set it up? Are you wanting to allow free navigation throughout your course, with the exception of the quiz slides, or do you want the entire course to be restricted?
Thanks for the information! You may want to try removing the menu from the quiz slides. That way the user won't even be tempted to use the menu while they are in a quiz. Would that work for you?
Steve Flowers posted some information on how to this in the following thread:
That might work as well as Steve Flower's input except the quiz is a bank of questionsjand does not have the same options as a slide by slide quiz ... does this fact mean I do not have a work around?
For the quiz slides, you'll need to modify them in Slide View. Once you have the quiz question open in Slide View, click on the small "cogwheel" to the right of the first layer. Then, select "Custom for the selected slides" under the "Player features" section. You'll be able to disable the menu for this question in your quiz.
Here's what it will look like:

If you're still unable to get this to work, are you able to post your .STORY file here? I'd be happy to take a look and see if I can suggest another method that might work for your course.

Hi Christine,
I want to allow free navigation throughout your course, with the exception of the quiz slides.
Don’t want the user to be able to jump out of the quiz, via the menu, to access answers.
Please advise … and Thank You for your assistance. Zeke
