Rubix Cube Template?

Jul 04, 2018

Hi All,

So iv been asked to take on a project to develop an e-learning module. The customer is asking for a Rubix Cube to be created.

What they want to achieve is that there will be a bank of 50-100 answers and the student will need to match each of the answer to one block on the cube. For each wrong answer that one square will turn red and for each right answer that one square will turn green.

Hope the above makes sense and someone will be able to advise!

I am new to all of this so i appreciate all the help and advice i can get.

Many thanks

Yusuf

To create a true, realistic-looking Rubik's cube where the various blocks change color based on Storyline questions, seems like a tall order. If you know javascript this link here may be worthwhile exploring. As a compromise, maybe you can find a 3D model of a cube and then try to overlay objects for the various block states (correct/false). You would also need to find a way to interactively rotate the cube, otherwise the learner would not be able to see the 'hidden' (e.g. the ones on the bottom) cube faces.
