Save and resume a game

I have developed a game where there are questions (Some questions are quiz slide and some are in normal slide) and videos. For every right question we give a star. At the end based on the number of stars we give a badge to the learner. 

Now my issue is that the game is of 60 mins. So if a learner leaves the game after 15mins and resumes it some other time the number of stars he has already earned is not resuming. 

Also there is a timer of 60mins for the module. So the timer is also not resuming when revisit.

How can we do that?
