My question is: How to match the way to build a course in StoryLine with Sections
As I far as I know, I can export in StoryLine the final proyect in Scorm format, but, does StoryLine has the structure of Sections and Lectures? Or is just a huge scene with slides?
Can I say that 1 scene in Storyline is 1 section or module?
Thank you in advance for your help. This will help me to made a decision about buy StoryLine.
It looks like you had a similar question here in regards to "sections" within your system called Udemy. As I am not fully clear on how to upload a SCORM package to Udemy, it's difficult to answer that question - but you could create Storyline with multiple scenes in one project, or create individual projects for each "scene". I suspect you'd like to focus on the former as they'd be linked between one another in Udemy for tracking purposes and such? I think your best bet would be to download the free trial of Storyline and test out publishing some courses and loading them to see how it behaves and what set up you may need to implement (scenes, separate projects, etc.)
Ah, thanks for clarifying that. It sounds like you have clicked Insert Slides >> Templates, is that correct?
From there, you can use the Insert into scene drop-down at the bottom of the window to choose where the new slides will appear in your course. Choose from the following:
Current scene: This adds the slides to the current scene.
Same as imported template: This adds the slides to the same scenes that the template is using. If those scenes don't already exist in your course, Storyline will create them for you.
New scene: This adds the slides to a new scene in your course. When you choose this option, an additional Scene field will appear, where you can specify the name of the new scene.

hi, Thanks, Difference between same as imported with new scene?
Applying every single instance with an example
Advantage of each one towards each other؟
Hi there!
In this video, I explain the differences between the three options for importing slides from a template.
The option Same as imported template is helpful if the original template was saved with multiple scenes.
For example, if the original template has 2 scenes, then the slides will import in 2 scenes.
Hopefully that helps to answer you question!
Thank you :)
