Screen Cast Format

Hello,
I'm working on a long-term project at the moment. After a bit of a break working on it I had to switch working computers. Now the problem has come up, that when I try to add new screen casts into my old file, that the format of my screen cast and the slides somehow doesn't add up, even though both are in the format 1920 x 1080.
If i look into editing the screen cast everything looks normal, but in the slides the screen cast has a smaller version of the background on top of it. In the timeline i don't see another image or video, so i cant just delete the smaller screen cast. I attached a small example file to better demonstrate.
I would appreciate any advice

That is odd that the screen recording is duplicated in the background. Let's see if we can pinpoint this snag!
May I ask what the screen resolution and scaling settings are on your computer? If those settings are above 100%, try adjusting them to back to 100% and then create a new screen recording to see if the behavior persists. This guide can walk you through on how to find these settings here:
