There's a screencast video editing function inside Storyline.
On the slide view, if you click on the video, the Video Tools> Option tab will appear, and then there's an 'Edit video' button on the ribbon. In here, you can crop or trim the video, adjust the brightness, etc.
I hope your little script error can be edited away using these tools.
Did you record the screen recording in Storyline? If so, take a look at the options for editing the screen recording here using the action fine tuning.
