When I set the area to record and begin to record, everything looks normal. When I click Done, the image on the "Insert Slides" window displays as if the recording image has shifted down and to the right. Please see the attached image.

Here's how to switch to 96 DPI when using Windows 10:
Right-click your desktop and select Display settings.
Click the Display tab in the upper left corner of the window that appears.
Under Scale and layout, select 100% from the drop-down list.
You may be prompted to restart your computer for the change to take effect.

No need to keep track of the monitor display scale that your colleagues are using, you just need to remind them to see the Scale value to 100% before they create screen recordings.

Hey Lauren, Adjusting the DPI settings fixed the issue . . . Thank you!
I am having the same issue. I cannot keep track of the monitor display scale used by everyone working in my team. Are there any other workarounds?
Hi Craig,
It looks like the best resolution for this is to recommend your team to use 100% as the value for the scale and layout setting, shown below:
No need to keep track of the monitor display scale that your colleagues are using, you just need to remind them to see the Scale value to 100% before they create screen recordings.
