We have hundreds of Storyline courses that contain mentions of our branded products. The brand names are now being changed, so we need to update all mentions of obsolete brands in the learning content to the new brand names. The problem is we don't know where the brand names appear.
Is Storyline files content indexed or searchable with 3rd party tools?
Examples:
FileLocatorPro app can search the contents of various types of files, without needing to open each file
MS Office documents hosted on SharePoint. They are bulk searchable with SharePoint
Hi Veljko, the only information I can chip in here is that each story line file is an archive, much like a PPT, or DOC file. You can change the extension to *.zip and un-compress. I'm wondering if any of the apps you mention can find/replace in *.zip files as this may be an option.
I have to add a disclaimer that I have sometimes made changes to SL files using this method and managed to corrupt them and had to revert to a back-up file, but I think a simple change of a word from X to Y would be a low risk exercise.
