Server-side solution to have quiz results emailed

Hi folks -- I am interested in having my Storyline course's final quiz automatically send an email when a student completes it.

Searching old forums, I see that Articulate's Brian Batt created such a solution for another Articulate product, Quizmaker.   See the URL below. That solution is server-side and therefore doesn't depend on the user having an email client set up -- it looks great -- The question is -- Can this same method be used on STORYLINE?  Or must this method be modified?
