Simple reversal of states

Hi all, probably a simple one but I'm going nuts trying to figure it out.

I've got a simple on/off thing going on with a checkbox and text box in Storyline.

You go to the page, and initially several text boxes are in hidden state. They appear when always visible check boxes right next to them are checked. The text is "on" and appears when the checkbox next to it is selected.

The issue is that when you UNCHECK those boxes, the text box that appeared doesn't go away or reverse its state. The box is unselected or normal, and thus the text should disappear.

I've run through the making states where if checkbox is normal or disabled, the text box goes to "Hidden" but it doesn't seem to be working.

Any suggestions?
