Attaching .story file here, Slide 3.5 should jump to Slide 2.2 when the timeline ends with trigger but it doesn't jump anywhere, gives a blip and then shows the same 3.5 slide again and doesn't advance anywhere. I'm sure there's something small I'm missing, help please?
The profile Tab Marker Layer on slide 2.2 hides all the items on the base layer, then jumps to the kudos scene. When Slide 3.5 tries to jump back, everything is hidden. It makes the jump, but since there is nothing to display, it keeps the left-overs from slide 3.5. The blip you see is because slide 3.5 has a menu, and 2.2 doesn't. You can test this by viewing the project to this point, then when the timeline ends, click on edit slide. it will jump to Slide 2.2.
I see 3 solutions: You can set slide 2.2 to return to initial state when revisited, create a trigger to close the profile tab marker layer when the user clicks on the button that jumps to the kudos scene, or hide the base layer objects by putting a white rectangle on the lowest layer of the profile tab marker layer to hide base layer objects.
Walt, you're my hero. I'm still very new working with Storyline, as you probably noticed by my rudimentary module I attached. I set slide 2.2 to return to initial state and that worked great. Thanks so much!
