As I understand your question, you'd like to change the red callouts to blue, correct?

I gather you have many, many slides already. If that's the case, pick one of your callouts and change the color to your desired version of blue.

Then select the callout you just changed (if it isn't already) and double-click the format painter icon found under the Home tab.

You would then go through each slide and click each callout once. This would change the color instantly. Beware that your callout may have different states. If that's the case you'd need to adjust all states to your desired color before changing it.

Hope this helps :-)

Sure! You can make a specific shape the default format. Simply right-click the shape and choose "Set as default shape".

But this will not help you if you already created multiple slides.

Possibly - you could also play around with the theme colors. You'd need to adjust the Accent 1 color. This article has more information: https://community.articulate.com/articles/articulate-storyline-360-user-guide-how-to-use-theme-colors

You misunderstand. I use the capture function to create software
simulation. I record a screen video then insert into Storyline and it
creates the slides . My question , i repeat , is how do i set up default
colours BEFORE i insert the video. Sorry for the CAPS but i feel something
is being lost in translation. Please confirm you are staff and not a
volunteer. I am tralling the product and am testing the quality of support
at the same time.

I'm just a user - just like you. That is mostly how the community works. I suggest creating a support ticket. Especially if your goal is to test the support of Articulate - and not the community.

It was not clear to me that you were using the recording feature to create the system simulation as you didn't mention that. Sorry.

I'll butt out and leave this to Articulate support.

Hi Tom,

You can set the default colors for the Hint Captions using design themes. Here's a reference article to help you get started on using this feature:

Specifically for the Hint Captions, you'll want to change the Accent 1 color to your preferred one to set the default color that the captions will use.
