Skipping Slides based on choices?

I'd like to know how to skip a certain slide if it was already viewed once.
Example:
I have a slide with 2 graphical icons. User selects icon 1 and she is dropped onto one slide. User selects icon 2 and she's dropped onto a separate slide.
I want BOTH slides to ultimately be shown however. The initial choice slide is simply selecting WHICH one will be shown first.
Make sense?
I've been trying this with triggers, duplicate slides, but nothing seems graceful - I'm sure there must be a way to do this in Storyline!
|slide 1| (2 choices)
|slide 2| |slide 3| (goes to either based on selection)
THEN! module should play the next slide above that isn't selected (sequentially).
Thanks so much in advance for anyone with an answer! :)

Is this what you want?
I set the slides to advance on a user click, but the two triggers could be fired by the timeline ending, if that works better for you.
Walt,
YES! That's exactly the behavior I'm after. Thank you so much for taking the time to set this up.
I'm going to see if I can tweak it to use the actual NEXT button on the player.
Very much appreciated!
