How do I add music to an entire project in SL 3 for background music?

I get the same error, but it looks like that's a link from another community member. Were you able to take a look at the .story files attached? That will really hold what you may need :) Great conversation there as well.

My opinion is that you can refer to some popular songs on TV.

If you want to add background music throughout the entire project, you could try putting all the project's music in the pre-existing music track on the timeline. Conversely, you could put all the project's other audio--voiceovers and sound effects--into the clip mixer's audio track and have the background music play from its audio track. I hope so, that will work.
