I don't have SL360 (yet) and I've already tested the demo months ago.
I have two questions regarding TTS :
- do you get a pronunciation dictionary because we use many acronyms or units in our modules and they need to be pronounced correctly without the hassle of changing each of them to phonetics (like saying kilowatt for kW).
- what is the TTS engine used and what are the French voices available?
The Text to Speech tool doesn't include a pronunciation dictionary. If you find that a word isn't pronounced correctly, you'll want to spell it out phonetically to adjust the pronunciation.
We currently use a TTS tool with a dictionary and I don't think we'll gain any time from using the tool within SL360 if we have to find/replace all acronyms before pasting text.

Great questions, Pierre!
Thanks Alyssa for this very detailed answer.

With the TTS functionality can you use SSML codes to amend the sound of the voice? e.g. add in breaks, breaths, emphasis etc?
