Unfortunately not. The issue is just a simple graphic that is about 3x longer than stage size. It is set to follow a motion path which brings it into the slides view. Part of the object (The start button + the line) are on the stage the rest of the object is hidden below the surface.
Hi Justin, sorry that's happening! I've seen folks use long image files with a motion path to create a panning effect, but I haven't seen it affect the player in that way.
After you published the file, where did you host it to test it? Also, what browsers did you use?
It doesn't matter where I host or browser I use. I've used Firefox, Chrome, and Edge. It also does the same thing inside of SL3 as well when I preview within the actual story file.
Ah, it happens in Preview as well? That's definitely not right.
I tried to recreate this issue in a new Storyline 3 file, but I still need your help. Would you be able to share the file privately with us here? Our support team can sign a NDA, if you'd like.
Alyssa, I can certainly share a file with you. I will send it over. It will contain the one slide that isn't working. When you open it please just "Preview Story" then once you press the Start button you will see exactly what happens.
Thanks, Justin! I see that you submitted a case and attached your file there. Our support team will give it a test and reach out once they have more to share!

Do you see this behavior in the HTML5 output, Flash output, or both?
Both.
Any way you could share a one slide .story file?
