Hi everyone, I'm hoping some really smart person out there cna help me. I'm banging my head on the tabel now. ! I'm new to articulte so this is more than a user error !
I have a multiple response question and upon selecting 3 answers the submit answers button shows (forcing the learner to select the correct number of response before they can submit their answers). I have created a variable (with your help alreday) to get this working.
They have 2 attempts at the questions
One question works correctly in slide and scene preview however another question only works correctly in 'slide preview' in the scene preview the 'submit answer' is becoming visible/available once they select 1 answer instead of 4. That is the only difference to the questions in that one variable condition is when the variable is = to 3 and the other = to 4 (3 is working, 4 is not).
I have attcahed some screen prints - can anyone help, offer any advice at all.
On the second question slide (the one that doesn't work in scene preview), try adding a slide trigger that sets the variable to 0 when timeline starts.
Hi Michael, thank you for such a quick response. Would be able to step me through doing that (sorry, I’m just learning and set-up so far has been based upon instructions, rather than an understanding of the product) one day I’m hoping to understand how it all works together !!

Hi Wendy,
All you'll need to do is add this new trigger to each slide where you'd like to use the variable:
That'll reset the variable value so that you can use it again for each new question slide.
