Slide Sequential Order - Error/Issue
Apr 13, 2019
Evening E-Heros,
I've been working on a project and invested quite a few hours in only to find that somehow all of the slides have moved out of sequential order.
So what I mean by this is Questions A was on slide 5.2 after the path was set though incorrect and correct choices Question A is now on slide 5.9 and out of the questioning order it was meant to be in.
I've attached an image of the way the paths are - If you look at the bottom you can see that 5.6 leads to 5.17 when it should be 5.11 (Yes I know I can change this back to the correct slide - I would like to know what would be causing this, as I've had to sink multiple days back into this to correct it). - This has happened over 6 scenes like this (This is one of the shortest question slides - Others are longer)
Thank you for any tips and hints
Shannon

Is anyone able to assist?
Hi Shannon,
It looks like these are quiz question slides, is that right?
I'm not sure what could have caused the slide order to spontaneously change, but there are a few things you can double-check:
If you'd like an extra pair of eyes on your file, we'd be happy to assist! If that works for you, you can upload your file privately to our support team here. We'll have a look and let you know what we find!
Hi Alyssa,
That's correct, these are question slides.
I'm in the process of uploading the file now; I did each of those points when I first identified the issue and all were good. (I only work on a localised HDD, which is backed up to Onedrive).
I painstakingly ensured that all slides were linked correctly while developing and post-development to ensure that the questions worked in the manner as required by the client.
The client required a set of mandatory questions which is row A if a question is answered incorrectly it then pulls a replacement question from row B, if the replacement question is also answered incorrectly is then pulls from row C. Finally if this is answered incorrectly it then sends the learner back to the first slide to rewatch the material.
(This should make sense when you see the files :D)
Each row of questions where originally in sequential order - it then randomly swapped all the questions around within section.
I've corrected this, and when I went to output notice that the few in the image attached to this post had moved again. I tried to duplicate through clicking and dragging slides around to get them to change, which they wouldn't (Each slide was manually set to where it was required to go).
Hi Shannon,
Thanks for sending over your files. My teammate, Michael, is looking them over as we speak. You'll hear back from him as soon as he has more to share!
