Slide triggers and viewing previous Slides with buttons

Hello, I am creating a training for my team in storyline that includes graded quiz questions. Once i have published the project and shared it through "articulate review" i am having a few problems. 

First, my information slides are jumping to the quiz slides before the timeline completes. I have tried to add a slide trigger that will pause the timeline, but it is not working once its published in "review".  Second,  any information slide with buttons on them( leading to other slide layers) will not allow the viewer to go back and view even after the pressing the back arrow a few times. The presentation will simply skip over the slide with buttons. At first i was able to go back a review slides with buttons, however, as of today i cannot. 

I am open to all suggestions if anyone has any.
