I have created a project in Storyline 360 in 1 scene and with 42 slides. I have noticed while working with Storyline that the slides will occasionally move and not be in order. I have had to reorder them several times. Also, when in preview you can see some of the slides are out of order, but in edit they are in order with all triggers lining up. I need to publish this project and I cannot because of how it is saving for the learner. I do not know why this keeps happening so any help would be appreciated.
It sounds really unusual that slides are randomly moving out of order while you're previewing them but all the triggers and story view are correct. Without seeing the file, it's difficult to say what could be going on, but I'd suggest starting with these troubleshooting steps:
Do you know what version of Storyline you're using? You can check by going to the "Help" Tab -> "About Articulate Storyline". The latest update of Storyline 360, is build 3.28.18944.0
Let us know if any of those steps help! If not, are you able to share a copy of your file with us? If so, you can upload at this link using the Add Attachment button or you always have an option to share privately with our Support Engineers. Either way, we'll delete it when done testing.
Thank you for your help! I contacted one of your support engineers and submitted the file and they were able to reset the menu to default in the player. I am not sure how they got out of order in the first place.
