I'm have an image in the shape of a puzzle piece (png). When you hover over it I would like it to change color and also have text appear describing a process. I did it once before but can't figure it out now. I went to the project that I had created before but couldn't get it to recreate in my new project. Suggestions please? Thanks.

Hi Jean
1. Highlight the shape and click the states tab - that will show the states already assigned to the shape.
2. Click edit states
3. Click the New state button and select the Hover state from the dropdown list and click Add
4. While the hover state is highlighted make the colour change you want and add the text box
5. Click done editing states when finished.
Hope that helps...if not, upload the image or .story file
Cheers
Wendy

Great news Jean . Good luck with your project
I need some help with my project. I want to make my button/image on the main page (which has trigger to another slide), disabled when revisited to the main page. I tried so many things, but nothing is working. Help please! Thanks heaps in advance.
Hello again. How can I view the storyline projects created in the newer version of the SL. Since I am using the older version, I am getting error message. Help in solving this issue is much appreciated. Thanks.
Hi Padma
for your second question.
If you are using SL1 you can only view SL1 projects. If you are using SL2, SL1 projects will be updated to view and edit in SL2. Unfortunately there is no way to view or edit SL2 projects in SL1.
for your first question...do you want to load up your .story file to have a look at
Hello Padma!
If you want something to be disabled when the slide starts, you can set its initial state to Hidden:
Then you will need something to trigger it to change state to "normal" by using the "change state of" trigger,
or by using a cue point.
