I am wondering how to make my project smaller is storyline not purging old files that are not used now? We are using a lot of videos but, they have been compressed. The current file size is 223mb and only half way through our build. Any suggestions?
I will try that in the am. When my colleague imported the quiz it put like 30 additional master slides we had to get rid of. I will update tomorrow on size, thanks!
Ok I tried save as and have now tried creating a new project and importing and the size is still at 228mb. I have the viewer size at 1120x840 because we are using video on almost every scene. Granite the video clips are all less than a minute on each slide and have been compressed using handbrake. I am wondering what else can I do to get the file size down. We are only half way through our project and our limit on our lms is 250mb.

not sure of your workflow but if you are doing a 'save as' with a new file name each time that can add to the size of the file.
Try creating a new project file and importing your current one in - that usually works for me and reduces the file size considerably.
